Into the Night

Sacred Music with Kristy Marie Nur Jehan and The Way Of The Heart Crew

Fridays, 7-9 pm on a monthly basis

Please check our schedule for upcoming dates!

Cost: 2 Credits

Join Kristy Marie and friends as they take the essence of Sacred Sundays into an evening deep dive celebratory 2-hour participatory musical offering. We have been feeling hungry for more music at the end of Sacred Sundays with the yoga-universal Kirtan fusion. We are excited to bring the heart of these practices further into our lives here in the twin ports. These nights will be full of experiential unity, as we come together from all paths, many lineages, and all directions to share a moment together in song and great heart. We will be doing universal Kirtan, dances of universal peace, and deep dive into the Sufi practice of Zikr. These practices encourage sovereignty while sharing space with others and no experience is necessary, it is forever and always a practice and not a performance. Kirtan is a more sedentary, sonic experience and the dances of universal peace and zikr are more of a guided moving and harmonizing meditation. The vibrations of the voices coming together help to significantly dissolve the barriers between us and our hearts, and our hearts alongside all other hearts.

Way of the Heart Album

Kristy Marie and friends have shared a moment together in song and great heart. Together, in grand collaboration, this unity from all paths, many lineages and all directions, became the beautiful Way of the Heart album. This album was truly a community effort and the life of this offering is still growing. You are invited to share in the vibrations of all voices coming together, helping to significantly dissolve the barriers between us and our hearts, and our hearts alongside all other hearts.

Copies of Way of the Heart are available through Svalja in-studio.

Honoring the Ruhaniat Lineage

The Ruhaniat is a world-wide spiritual family, walking in the footsteps of Murshid Samuel Lewis (our founder), and of Hazrat Inayat Khan, his teacher, who brought "The Sufi Message of Spiritual Liberty" from India to the West in 1910. Our stated mission is, "helping individuals unfold their highest spiritual purpose, manifest their essential inner being, and live harmoniously with others, with the hope of relieving human suffering and contributing to the awakening of all of humankind".
