This trauma-conscious yoga class is private and closed and offered by the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault (PAVSA) for survivors of sexual assault. Trauma-conscious yoga is a service provided FREE of charge through PAVSA. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike. We offer a one hour slow-paced, gentle and restorative practice and also incorporate strengthening postures. Individuals may register for class by:

We practice safe in-person PAVSA Trauma-Conscious Yoga Classes. You can also attend virtually.

In 2014, Firefly Yoga International partnered with PAVSA to launch a weekly trauma-informed yoga program with classes led by Kyle Leia Heyesen. In 2017, Firefly donated all yoga equipment to PAVSA and Kyle continued leading the program with trauma-conscious classes until Miriam began guiding this beautiful group in 2020.
