Sacred Feminine

Sacred Feminine: Reclaiming Embodiment

Sunday, March 16th — 10am - 4:30pm, $111

Led by Erika Fryklepak, eRYT 500, YACEP

Join us for this incredibly rich opportunity.

Open to all curious seekers and genders, this journey into the sacred feminine is thoughtfully balanced for body, mind, and spirit.

Our time together includes movement and stillness, intellect and embodying, speaking and listening.

Discussion of societal constructs, and old / new modes of being give us context for the day’s discoveries. The emphasis of much of the day will be on practices of healing ways to move and connect with your body, deep listening, and respectful touch* in dyads and groups.

*A Note Regarding Touch

This workshop includes the invitation for respectful gentle touch in small group settings. Participants are encouraged to exercise their autonomy, with the option to modify or opt out of any part of the workshop according to their comfort levels.

We all respond to touch differently and have different needs and history with touch, so we practice to be loyal to our body’s signals. There is no specific technique or agenda when we use touch — we are merely trusting the intelligence and healing capacity of Presence.

May we all reclaim trust in the signals from our bodies.

Together, we will explore ways to experience the sacred feminine within ourselves and the world around us.

Sensing into our own feminine and masculine nature, with toes dipped into Shiva / Shakti, symbolism and lessons of the Circle, and opportunities to practice expression through movement, speaking, touch as embodied presence, listening with receptivity, and writing prompts for accessing deeper creative gems.

Testimonials from Last Year:

  • “It was a day of connection that I deeply needed. Thank you so much for your wisdom and kindness. Being in that space with such open hearts and vulnerability was the connection I was longing for.”

  • “I feel like I was able to connect with my life-force again. It was challenging but in ways that really pushed me to dig into myself and bring up the things that have been holding me back from being able to express my most authentic self.”

  • “This weekend has been filled with sweet, tender moments with many doors; wonderful circles with incredible humans… we will close our circle and with intention move back into the wide, wonderful world. A moment when these glimmers and treasures will move from outside ourselves to instead be carried closely in all of our hearts. Thank you Svalja and Erika for your guidance, for your soft sacred spaces, and for the love you have poured into each of us.”

Meet Your Guide

Erika Fryklepak, MA, eRYT 500, YACEP

Erika has been guiding yoga since 2010. At its foundation in 2018, she was the original co-lead teacher and contributor of curriculum development at the House of the Gathering Yoga School. Additionally, she provided the YTT’s branding / website through her graphic design business, Erika Was Here Design.

Early in adulthood, a fervent desire to make-the-world-a-better-place motivated Erika to earn a BA in Women’s Studies (2004) and a MA in Advocacy & Political Leadership (2006) from the University of Minnesota Duluth, after which she set her ambitions toward a career of community organizing and political lobbying.

After a time Erika shifted her vision from politics to spirituality, reframing the need for societal change, “It must begin within!” She completed 200hr YTT and +300hr YTT at Yoga North in Duluth (2011). Since then Erika has taught in many places including: retreat centers, corporate settings, studios, community centers, resorts, private homes, and even a theater!

Erika continues to soften as she grows. In recent years, Erika has been weaving together lifelong threads through the work of feminine embodiment spirituality. Long being passionate about the magic that happens when a group of women gather (gender non-conforming individuals included), Erika found a way to bring this passion into union with yogic teachings. A training with Awakening Women Wisdom School (2019) served as the catalyst to incorporate these practices into gatherings. She has been leading weekly circles exploring sacred feminine principles since 2023.

As a mama of three, DIYer of their homestead with her husband, and owner of a small business, Erika lives creatively, spaciously, and enjoys cultivating experiences of authenticity, curiosity, and wonder. Find her spiritual expressions on Instagram: heartofthemoon_sanctuary
