Yin Yoga Certificate
20 & 30 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Modules
“We don’t use our body to get into a pose, we use the pose to get into our body.”
— Bernie Clark, founder of Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga Certificate Program
This unique Yin Yoga Certificate Program, led by Miriam Hanson, is an opportunity to realize deep healing, whole-being empowerment, and achieve balance in the Yin/Yang energies of the Self.
An in-depth and integrated training that takes the classic principles of Yin and provides a pathway to practical application at the nexus of fascia as whole-being intelligence, with a trauma-conscious foundation incorporating Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga.
All curious seekers are welcome. This program is designed for the ardent seeker who has been lit up by the practice of Yin. Some Yin Yoga practitioners may want to deepen their personal practice. Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs) will receive CEUs and Certified Yoga Alliance Yin Teacher Training Certificates.
“Miriam is an outstanding teacher and powerful healer with deep roots in the practices and philosophies of yoga. She has an uncanny ability to hold her students’ bodies and hearts in her teachings with the support of these deep roots, offering so much grounding and nourishment. She teaches from a place of generosity, grace, humor, and accessibility. It is a true gift to receive her teachings.” — Chloe Diamond-Lenow

Miriam says, “I cried through most of my first Yin Class on the Caribbean island of Roatan in 2001. I had no idea I could be moved so deeply by staying so still. Since then, I have maintained a regular Yin practice to complement my generally Yang practice and lifestyle. The Yin flame lit in my heart from that first practice has become a deep, unwavering light infused with the energy of the hundreds of practitioners who have attended my classes over the last 15 years.
“Your students are your greatest teachers, and this Teacher Training offering is supported by the deep teachings I have received from the beautiful souls sharing their Yin practice in the studio with me. I humbly offer this practice from my own integrated study and with the encouragement of my teachers, my colleagues and my fellow Sadhakas (students) on the path to self-realization and self-healing.”
Deep bows to my teachers Bernie Clark, Michelle Pietrzak-Wegner, Matthew Sandford and Bhavani Maki
