Untamed & Embodied: A Yoga & Coaching Circle
For 6 weeks we will gather for yoga and intimate conversation about what it looks like for each of us to be more “Untamed.” We’ll talk about the real stuff of our lives, sparked by the words of Glennon Doyle (author of Untamed). You just show up. No homework required.* Each week we’ll start by centering ourselves in our bodies and setting our intentions for our time together. Then we’ll read a chapter from Untamed out loud and use it as a framework for our conversation, exploring themes from Get Untamed: The Journal/ How to Quit Pleasing and Start Living including: • Unearthing Your Beliefs • Feel It All, Use It All • Be Still and Know • Dare to Imagine • Trust Yourself • Let it burn • Build the New. We’ll end by grounding what we learned in the body. Simple. Together, we’ll make our experience what it is by what we bring and how we receive what is offered. We’ll create a container to be seen, to see others, and to see ourselves in each other. And in so doing engender a space of mutual support, inspiration, and accountability.
$120 for a 6 weeks series. Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm., September 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12, 19. Limited to 15 participants. No prior yoga experience necessary. Scholarships available.
*Optional homework: Read chapter from Untamed/Listen to suggested “We Can Do Hard Things” podcast.

A passion for learning, a desire for deep personal healing, a search for meaning and purpose, and a calling to help heal and change this world have been the driving forces on her meandering life path. She also teaches a Gentle Embodied Yoga class at Svalja Yoga and is a guide with Hilary Buckwalter-Wilde at Indwellingduluth.com.
Paula Williams (she/her) is a Certified Integral Coach® trained by New Venture’s West in 2005. She creates a space of deep listening where people feel truly seen and heard in their deepest places, then asks powerful questions to draw out what may be getting in the way of the possibilities inherent in each of us, and finally, with compassionate accountability she helps develop a plan of action for how this possibility can best be expressed, and the support needed to do that. Find out more at www.livethislifeonpurpose.com.
Ever curious about what it means to be human, Paula has participated in many circles of learning including Thwarting The Inner Critic, The Daring Way, Embodying Your Heartfelt Desires, The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations That Matter, Bodhisattva Peace Training, Seeds of Enlightenment, The Sacred Art of Living and Dying, Enneagram Workshops, and Transforming White Privilege. She has also been a student of yoga, practicing weekly with the same teacher and many of the same students since 2006. As a coach, community organizer, and member of a weekly women’s group Paula has experienced what is possible inside a place of trust and belonging that is nurtured over time; people feel safe to step outside their comfort zones, take risks, make mistakes, learn lessons, be held accountable, and stay at it through the inevitable ups and downs of any deep work.
Paula and Heather have been friends and collaborators for 27 years and have been a part of a weekly Women’s Circle with the same members for 11 years.
